Dennis Sanderson has 20 years of drum set and percussion experience and is the founder of Monument Music, established in 2015. He is a Zildjian and Vic Firth artist.
He has opened up for large acts including, Valerie Naranjo from (The Saturday Night Live Band), Less than Jake and The English Beat to name a few.
Dennis has recorded more than 7 studio albums.
He won the 2015 Colorado store finals at the Guitar Center Drum Off competition.
He is the founder and coordinator of the annual Colorado Springs Youth Drum Competition.
Dennis has studied under Henrique De Almeida (Professor at Berklee College of Music), Gary Hassing, Bruce Anderson (Pikes Peak Community College), Eric Kruse (Blue Knights Drum Corps), and Aaron Turner (CSU, Colorado Springs Philharmonic).
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Colorado State University and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts with a focus in music from Pikes Peak Community College.
He has 10+ years of professional teaching experience and has been working with more than 50 students per week since 2011. Dennis has helped many students succeed in school bands, on worship teams and in their own musical goals.
I offer group rock ensembles and private lessons, separated by skill level, for many different instruments. Seven events each year including Music Recitals, Drum Competitions, and Master Classes.
